I am not a small woman nor am I an overly large woman. If I push the into my head to create the seal the noise canceling is wonderful but who plays games with their hands wrapped around the headphones? Also, because they are so big and don't create a seal the noise canceling feature is greatly diminished. As such, they are very uncomfortable, not because they are too tight but because I keep trying to push them back up. Even adjust as small as the headband will go the bottom portion of the ear piece extends down probably an inch, well below my jaw bone. Yes, I said neck, that's how big these things are. I can stick my finger in between the headphone and my neck. I would not mind that I look like Princess Leia with these things on except for the fact that they are so large that they don't actually seal around the bottom part of my ear.
Tried these out with my PC game and was able to hear things that I don't normally hear when just using my speakers (and I have very good speakers for my PC). The cord length is very generous, thick and appears to be durable. Reviewed in the United States on October 17, 2018įirst of all these are well constructed.
The headset feels sturdy and the cord is braided so I have confidence I will be buying more for family members. I cannot hear outside noise and no one can detect anything but my voice through them. The headset is comfortable to wear through a typical 8 hour shift. I wear glasses and the headset is comfortable and I can honestly say I notice no discomfort or my glasses smashing against my face. The ability to mute speakers or just yourself is very handy in a work capacity. I was told I sounded crystal clear and I hear perfectly as well.
I instantly was able to use Adobe Connect, Skype for Business and other chat programs.
People have mentioned a few times about Windows 10 and it was plug and play with this headset. When I tried to use my other gaming headsets I just couldn't make the PC see the USB adapter I needed to turn it from the jack to USB. One of my biggest hurdles however was needing a USB headset to use on my work PC. Reviewed in the United States on September 13, 2018Īs a gamer, I am very picky about my headsets.

The volume goes really, really, high with the build in control. Cant speak for the mic just yet though as i didnt use it. Sound quality seems solid so far, Im pleased with it. So if u r of a smaller stature, u might find the weight uncomfortable. The headset itself is quite large, and i guess on the heavier side of things (only my 2nd headset so far). It also does not have a clipper on it, so i would mainly recommend this headset for "sit down and enjoy" use. The volume control feels a bit unnecessarily large, and swings around due to center of mass if the headset is used for a mobile playback device. However, the extension cable that is provided for PC use is an another good meter long, which leaves plenty of lee-way for moving around ur setup. The line from the headset is braided nicely, and is a lil over a meter long. The mic itself at the end of the bar is movable as well with 100% freedom to where u want it to be, thanks to the silicone bar. So it wont be moving around on its own which in nice. The mic does not move around freely, but can be moved into a given number of preset positions with a "clicking" sound (when moving the bar horizontally). The earpads r large enough to cover my ears snugly, and there is no pressure on them at all.
